Organic farmers and gardeners:
Custom blending. Technical support. We also carry special soil amendments which are often hard to get in smaller quantities. Can make pallets of mixed products. Excellent for use with starter mixtures. Mix 12 to 14 lbs. with a cubic yard of growing medium. With transplants, simply mix with soil in the bottom of the hole. Starts releasing in 4 to 5 days and releases for 7 - 10 weeks. Can broadcast and incorporate or side dress.

Environmentally and lake friendly:
In this time of growing concern about the effects of fertilizer run-off on streams and rivers, lakes and ponds and on aquifers, we are very pleased to have been able to formulate fertilizers which do not tend to either leach nor run off. We have even been able to formulate Renaissance ® 6-0-6, a low phosphorous fertilizer for areas concerned about excess phosphorous migrating into lakes. Because these fertilizers are granular, they are stable and slow release. This means even lakeshore homeowners can use them without polluting the lake.

Benefits the soil's eco-system:
Organic matter not only provides nutrient needed for plant growth, but it is also essential for the biological process which allows the soil's own microbes to break down those nutrients for uptake by plants. Organic activates the microbes and increases their numbers thereby helping in the process by which the soil renews itself. It feeds the soil which, in turn feeds the plant. Such a system creates stronger, more vigorous plants which are more resistant to disease.
